After my last week´s post "Brainstorming over a cup of Darjeeling tea", where I described my idea of matching struggling small companies or start-ups with the creativity of kids in the frame of the "Entrepreneurial Adventure" - a program of The Learning Partnership -, I met with Betty Weil, one of the regional coordinators of this program, over a cup of coffee in a nearby coffee-shop. It was a great and very stimulating meeting! The coffee was also stimulating, but not great.
Entrepreueurial Adventure: Presentation of awards
As an important outcome of our conversation we agreed that either I or my Tea Campaign-colleague Matthew Healy will serve in Ottawa as a mentor in the coming "Entrepreneurial Adventure"-program (January - April 2016). Matthew ran a coffee-shop for 14 years, is a tea sommelier and teaches "Entrepreneurship" at the Algonquin College.
This will be an exciting challenge for us! We´ll keep you posted as soon as we have more details, most propably towards the end of the year.
