Tea Campaign Canada`s Darjeeling Tea now on Amazon

Additionally to our Tea Campaign Canada website we sell our Darjeeling tea now also on Amazon. We sell our teas for the same price and for the same shipping costs as we do on our website. Due to the high referral fees of 15% per item plus shipping costs, we look on Amazon more as a communication and marketing channel rather than as a sales channel. But as so many people search for a product...

Fair Trade and Community Engagement. A Pop-Up Café at Algonquin College, Ottawa.

Towards the end of this winter’s semester, a dedicated group of community members at Algonquin ran the first-ever Pop-Up Cafe at the College in a heavily trafficked area. The Changing Climate of Tea Production pt.1

It's rather unfortunate that climate change has been so politically loaded because it's turned what should be a question of scientific method and findings into Left vs. Right.  People have the right to be sceptical, and if fact, they should be - only in asking tough questions do we make sure we have high quality information on which to act and make decisions. Tea Time News: The Vanitea Room opened in Ottawa!

Hey there, the Tea Campaign Canada is taking a quick second to update you on some local news in our home base of Ottawa. Ottawa has a decent selection of coffee shops from large companies like Tim Horton's or Starbucks and local chains like Bridgehead to small independent roaster/cafes like Happy Goat Coffee or Equator Coffee. But, the tea gets overshadowed by emphasis on the coffee - the beans, the roasting, and the brewing. Where's...

Tasteless tea on the forward march!

That´s something one could believe when reading the following in the 2015 Canadian Tea Fact Sheet & Trends: According to the Canadian Food Trends to 2020... tea consumption is expected to jump 40% by 2020, as growing consumer interest in health and wellness has led to increased awareness of tea’s functional benefits. 40% increase: ok, good for us. By 2020: not more too far away. Functional benefits: fine. But stop: which benefits? Antioxidants? Even if...
